Brooklyn Kids is a progressive early
childhood education program in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We provide half-day and
full-day pre-K programs. We believe that
children learn by playing. Brooklyn Kids utilizes elements of Music, Theater,
Dance, Art, Active Play, Gardening, and Healthy Cooking to teach Reading Readiness,
Science and Math organically. 
The
curriculum focuses on Pre-K & Kindergarten readiness. We use guided
discovery to help improve motor skills, self-regulation and sharing. We use the Responsive Approach to teaching
classroom skills. Brooklyn Kids teaches the children to respect each other and
work together, making them responsible for themselves and the classroom
community. Social skills improve and problem behaviors decrease as they learn
that good choices bring great results.
